As close as I've been to a Formula E Gen 3.5 car - well over halfway between an electric go-kart and a Formula 1 car.. #SundayPix #SundayPixVehicle

There remains something delightfully old fashioned about catching a train for leisure purposes.

This is very much what I'm doing now.

In other news, Retford is one of the strangest stations I've ever been to. It's got a bonus level (with a daft little train)

This is an absolute Godsend on a day like today. There's a lot wrong with the world of corporate cost-cutting, so it feels right to celebrate things being better. Thanks @lner.co.uk (and @greateranglia.bsky.social too)

I have a mac book for work and I'll be honest, it's taken a while to get used to it. But I'm getting there - here, for example, is a cool new feature I've discovered: if I move my mouse to the bottom right of the screen, it displays an elegant dark grey square.

The video doesn't really do it justice - when we went past this field yesterday, it looked like there were pigeons learning how to do murmurations by a whole bunch of starlings.. might go down there at the same time next Monday to see if it's a weekly training course...

Popped into town earlier with (among other things) a mission to replace the sticky tape in our little tape dispenser thing, what with Christmas and all that.

I think someone might have taken leave of their senses with this price.. or have I misunderstood sticky tape all this time?

Whenever a drop-down box for "country" appears online, I often scroll past "U.S. Minor Outlying Islands" to get, inevitably, to the UK, but I never get round to finding out what they actually are.

Here's what the ISO.org website says about them.

Fat lot of good that is.

Thank you, Matt Lyle for these carrots (from me and the guinea pigs). They're delicious!
