Interested in how things work; brains are really cool too! (I'm not an expert on anything.)

(PS: thanks for being kind and helpful!)
Kind of shooting from the hip here, but looks like Kansas may have BARD (Braille and Audio Reading Download).

I feel kind of inept at knowing nothing about BARD despite working in libraries and not doing well with print books.

Maybe an option for you? (Connecting folks & resources is my jam.)

My apologies, I forget that not all library systems have access to the breath of materials I enjoy

I'm very biased, but a big fan of Libby. If you've got a public library nearby, check their website, they probably use Libby.

Free, but you'll still have to wait for popular stuff; libraries only pay to circulate so many copies of a title. (And comparatively to physical media it is expensive.)

Was on vacation, yay!

I started getting some mildly weird sensations around week seven or eight. Transitioning from dreaming to conscious very quickly on waking, and chills on a 95ºF day (I never get chills).

That said they didn't last but a few days.

I think that teal worm is going to eat your purple aster... otherwise looks good? (I only kind of know orchids...)

And on the passwords, I'd rather give up any pretext that I'll remember it, and just start with machine generated gibberish from the get go.

For reference, never had problems with @netflix.com , Disney+, Prime Video, @dropout.tv, Hulu, or Max.

Just kind of irks me that AppleTV has things I want to watch, but doesn't seem too interested in taking my money, which I feel is the whole purpose of a company.

Valid question. Valid response.

For me having a medical professional definitively diagnose me with ASD would mean, unbiased certainly and being able to advocate for those with ASD as one of them. It wouldn't really open any new doors door me.

I'm me though, and you're you.

Dunno how relatable my experience is, but sometimes a wave of sadness will wash over me, and it tends to go as gracefully as it came.

Anger usually provoked by some stimuli, and that can stick to me like peanut butter.

I try to stay busy enough that I can't focus on the negative.

There is a strategy in cryptographic communication: always be transmitting.

Regularly transmitting coded messages, even meaningless ones, keeps them guessing. Did they just score a blow, who knows? Only transmitting when there is info to share is revealing.

I hope this is mostly that.
