COVID in Australia remains a major challenge. Key is that the toll in 2024 is similar to that in 2023. We have plateaued, & have done so at a high-level. We can do more, especially to acknowledge the scale of the challenge & improve vaccination & ventilation strategies.

Last Wednesday was my last day working for research newswire 360info at Monash University.

It’s sad to leave behind one of the nicest, smartest & most collaborative teams I’ve had the pleasure of being a part of but I look forward to seeing what they all do next & how 360info grows from here.

Fantastic to present my research at #JERAA2024 last week: looking at what journalists can do when the public doesn't trust science.

Really appreciated all the great questions, and enthusiasm and support for people like me at the start of our research careers.
