Sprites and pixel art is still very much outside of my usual wheelhouse but I'm trying every day.

Sprites and pixel art is still very much outside of my usual wheelhouse but I'm trying every day.
Because of how much the development time of these games has exponentially grown, the last decade has only seen two major Final Fantasy releases, one is a modern-ish setting and one in a classic medieval story and neither of these people have any sort of identity to them because “realism”.

So this is Cecil Harvey. He’s the main character of Final Fantasy IV and he looks great for his era. His colors pop and his design is very memorable. Also pictured here is this same outfit translated to the more realistic Final Fantasy fighting game Dissidia 012. They don’t usually do it like this.
