Every time labour in Canada stands up to management, the Liberal government steps in on the side of management. It's pathological.
It's also bad for the economy, bad for these businesses who have constantly pissed-off workforces, and bad for everyone's safety.

I think you're thinking about it the wrong way. It isn't going to change people's minds if they're planning to visit the Island anyway, but it will considerably lower the barrier to entry for people in the area (either tourists or otherwise). There will certainly be more interest at $20.
