Please don’t repeat this mistake again. EU, USA, UK, ASEAN and other countries must not support such sham processes like they did after the Burmese military’s 2010 election. Instead support the people’s struggle for genuine peace and real freedom built on equality and self-determination.

During the fake peace process, the Burmese military was able to buy more weapons and fighter jets, that they now use to attack our people. During the fake reform, the Burmese military escalated their attacks in ethnic areas, committed genocide against the Rohingyas and had another coup in 2021.

W call for stronger measures to support the genuine democratic movement, including ethnic resistance organisations, and to endorse the people’s struggle for genuine peace built on equality and self-determination. International governments should support and recognise the bottom up federalism...

Stop supporting war criminals, the Burmese military. This brutal military could not survive without support from other countries. Governments must impose more targeted sanctions to help stop Burmese military offensives. Stop arms, revenue, equipment and aviation fuel going to the Burmese military.

Burmese military airstrikes are targeting civilian places as a deliberate strategy to generate fear and maximise casualties. Stop supporting these war criminals, the Burmese military. This brutal military could not survive without support from other countries.

Majority of these people are displaced mainly because of attacks by the Burmese military using airstrikes and artillery shelling, causing major humanitarian crisis. UK, EU, USA- cut the flow of arms, revenue and jet fuel going to the Burmese military and provide more humanitarian aid for the people
