I've been on VR for about four months and haven't seen any of this stuff yet thankfully. Have only had to deal with random trolls and they were just being annoying.

Yeah. One con I go to was mercilessly harassed into changing their charity. Harassment campaign was started by someone in another country who has never been to the con.

I firmly believe that people who repeatedly harass con staff should be banned from the cons. I bet the conventions would be a more pleasant experience without such people there, too!
There is NEVER an excuse to harass staff. If a con does something you don't like, you can just NOT GO.

This is a big reason I tend to avoid politics here, aside from it causing anxiety (especially in the last year or so.)
And when I suggest to people that maybe they should avoid that topic too, I get yelled at. So I don't do that anymore either!

I mean, she herself has said she has OCD, which could definitely play into this.
It just sucks that her actions, mental health issues or not, are hurting millions of people. I wish her wealth could be confiscated for the good of society.

This has definitely dulled my anticipation for GTA 6. And I say that as someone who lives in Miami and would have extra appreciation for its setting.

I don't think I've ever put much thought into things that don't affect me.

I almost always scroll through a few days of someone's timeline before clicking follow. If it's more than about 50% doomerism, I won't. I just can't handle it.
