The Number 3 holds multiple associations across the myths. The 3 Kings, The 3 Brigids, The 3 forms of the Morrigan, the 3 spears that would spell Cú Chulainn’s fate, the Sky and Earth and Ocean, Life and Death and Rebirth, so many things come in 3.

Now, I feel like I’m at a cross roads. Either stay on atheist, or believe in something more, something that resonates with my heart. Now, I believe in reincarnation and The Otherworld. Celtic Mythology has one very interesting factor in it. The number 3.

But after June I lost that bliss. But my heart didn’t ache as it did before. I feel more stable. I took an interest in Buddhism, quickly discovering a branch called Celtic Buddhism. I abided by the 7 fold path for not very long, but I want to get back on it.

Before June, I felt that there was something more out there. Not defined gods, but aspects of the universe. I wanted to be a herbalist, I had no desire to consume processed food, and a lot of food I’ll eat now is generally raw.

In April I felt a sort of enlightenment? My appreciation for nature and the world completely shifted, I felt happy, like pain didn’t burden me for a while. The sheer bliss I felt was better than any high I’ve ever felt. Trees became this.. symbol of divinity. Seeing one was enough to make me cry.

It’s kinda of odd thinking back on my beliefs of spirituality this year. In January, I was an atheist, I didn’t believe in gods, I believed the world is what it is.
