“Gifted” sounds weird to me too. Not sure the source of it. I suppose it remains to be seen whether it’s a fad or an actual change in the language.

Where I live, “can I get” is a common and perfectly acceptable (if a little casual) way to ask for something. We’re generally pretty casual here :)

All of the trans woman competition bans follow a simple logic. They see us as men, and they see us competing with cis women in any capacity as unfair because they see cis women as inferior in every aspect to even "failed" men.

I cannot stress enough how much these people hate and detest women.
