Matt Groening told a story recently about attempting to interview S. Clay Wilson, everything came out sounding like a slurring Tasmanian Devil. He still has those 40 year old tapes somewhere, waiting to be digitized and released to the world.

What I don't understand is Guillermo willingly relinquishing the opportunity to give us the most faithful adaptation of the novel to Kenneth Branagh's tonally bizarre Mary Shelley's Frankenstein from 1994.

BTW, the back cover ad for Mazda is pure pop-art perfection.

It was also one of those stories where Batman genuinely is trying to help reform one of his villains, which I like.
