Oooh yeah, it's because I see the white light from the pillar and assume "outdoors" 😅 so trippy
November 18, 2025 at 12:05 AM
oooo definitely

also WHY IS THAT MUSIC SO GOOD in the "connecting" screen?!
It sounds like something between 8bit and 16bit, almost? so good

I've been procrastinating on it because I'd have to import the hardware - we don't make it here in Brasil - but you're right, I should!

Btw, whenever you need a composer, let me know!
I haven't worked with GB specifically, but I HAVE used chiptune trackers! And learning a new tool is always fun 😄

Is that geometry non-Euclidean? It looks vaguely mind-bending

eu literalmente NUNCA vi alguem falar "pgrma"

I was gonna shit on the graphic/UI design, but I find myself LOVING it the more I stare at it.

For some reason, this goes hard as fuck
November 16, 2025 at 9:13 PM
yeah, it's SUPER puzzling how there still isn't a real-life version!

I gave it a quick google, and seems like the best we have are *some* models that can be piloted via phone app... which steps on my pet peeve of companies needlessly introducing Wi-fi as an useless middleman in things lmao

If you want some help with the sound and music side anytime, including middleware stuff, let me know!

I'm open to actual freelance work, of course, but I also just like chatting about it, helping people figure it out themselves haha. Made a handful of dev friends that way, even
November 16, 2025 at 7:40 PM
oh, that's fun! So you just went for it!

Do you have a GB and the necessary hardware to actually play it on the GB? Or is that a thing for later, for now?

I had a little look at it some time back, when I wanted to know if I could play my GBA's soundchip like a musical instrument haha

Those little animal pens with turf roofs are so lovely. I wish turf roofing was more common
November 12, 2025 at 8:42 PM
Man, there's SOMETHING really interesting you're doing with the sound design there...

I might be imagining it cuz I just watched Red's trailer and loved the bitcrushed music, but that's not just an EQ on the engine sound, is it?
November 12, 2025 at 8:40 PM
Oh damn, that looks GREAT.

Transparent black is such a great design! I imagine it ages a lot better than other transparent colors, doesn't it? Though the yellowing can be kinda charming on its own...
November 12, 2025 at 8:36 PM
Wait, so it's ACTUALLY an official part of the franchise?!

That's crazy! How'd you land this opportunity?
November 12, 2025 at 8:02 PM
Hehe, they're fun! It makes me miss my GBC.

I wanna know more abt Dead Mines btw!
You're working on it solo? When did you start the project, and how'd you decide on GB specifically?
November 12, 2025 at 3:35 PM
I noticed the voice acting! It's a really nice touch

Whenever you need some help on the audio side btw, let me know!
I've been in the indie audio field for quite a while now, but working on an N64 game is a challenge I haven't had yet, and it sounds fun 😄

I love how the pilot is basically just a helmet with lil limbs. It's so fun
November 9, 2025 at 10:01 PM
Are you doing the sounds yourself, then?
November 9, 2025 at 10:00 PM
You did good! I assume you're a composer too, then?
November 9, 2025 at 8:59 PM
For sure! I always love meeting new fellow musicians haha. There's a ton of really cool folks working in game music

Are they making the sound effects, too? I noticed the game does have some, but what really caught my attention was the music!
November 9, 2025 at 12:33 AM
Is there a video of that? it sounds really interesting!
I don't understand much about this kind of programming, is root motion related to IK?
