with the previous automated menu, I had memorized which numbers to press to get exactly what I needed in a few seconds. but the AI doesn't allow for that. i have to wait for it to slowly say every option and go thru and an example before it lets me speak.

They/we want to cling to everything that gives us an illusion of control and safety. And no one easily admits they're wrong, esp when they've invested a lot of time, energy and money into something. It's very human to go right into denial when confronted with someone who disagrees.

Doctors saved my mother from her body that killed the fetus in it and tried to kill her too. The next time (which shouldn't have happened), they saved her and the fetus (me). But my body clearly doesn't want to do the basics of living. Her body was just trying to eliminate badly made fetuses.

... My kidneys. Or was it liver? Anyways, eating only once a day is too miserable today to worry about a different organ 2+yrs from now. The other med is astronomically expensive. But might cause anaphylaxis worse than the anaphylaxis my body already does to itself daily. 😑

Body goes into anaphylaxis with any and all foods. And most smells. Other, cheaper meds don't work well enough. Thus, the last 2 meds. One is a chemo drug that will just kill the misbehaving part of the immune sys. (Apparently we only use it to be allergic to safe foods?) Might also slowly kill ...

I only need an epi pen bc I need an even more expensive medication (xolair) that has an anaphylaxis risk. I need that astronomically expensive med bc my body goes into anaphylaxis every time I eat anything. Or smell almost anything. #mcas is a mindfuck only surpassed by our medical system.
