Don't forget that those points/rewards/miles are absolutely not worth it if you're regularly carrying a balance instead of paying the card off fully every month. The interest charged will quickly overtake the value of any rewards you might be getting.

Additional context: my grandparents got this set as a wedding gift. There's also a corner table to go with the pair of end tables. All three pieces will be getting refinished.

I'm debating between a simple natural oil finish, which would lend just a small bit of warmth, or using something with a little more tint than that. I believe they were originally the 'wheat' color, which would have had made it a bit more golden in color than the natural wood.

I have a lot of work ahead though. I'm only managing to run about half the short loop right now, in segments. It'll be exciting when I manage to do the short loop nonstop.

For reference, this was the state of the pantry when I got the place. Walls had never even been painted or primed, but I still don't see how somebody just lets this happen?
