Working in Hospice, I resist by more intentional in being curious and nonjudgmental with patients and families. Even though they disagree with my politics and theology, I try my best to find God in them and hope that helps them orient towards being more loving of their neighbors.

Good thoughts

I think nostalgia also gives us a measuring stick for our relationship to God and one another. Like the Eben-Ezer of Samuel, we can make sure we remember the important times and spaces in our lives and orient ourselves correctly.
