As heavy as hospice chaplaincy can be at times, nothing melts the heart like hearing a patient ask for more visits because they "really enjoy having someone to talk to".

It's strange (or maybe just sad) how the video games I've played made me better prepared to give empathy and resist corruption than the church I grew up attending.
