It never ceases to amaze me that this is inner city Copenhagen.

Honest to god, I think some of the historical men I chat with my friend about would be after my head if they heard it. There is no mercy in those conversations.

Is it just me or is the officers eyes yellow?

I was so close to Frederik VI’s burial place, but was too late to go visit. 😭

I have found only three of these in CPH. Just reminds me how lucky the Danes were and the great effort they went to keep a part of the population Safe.

Currently in heaven. I found a little cook book that is so cute.

Its not that old (1877 i think).
The best part is that it’s stuffed with many previous owners notes (I see 3 types of handwriting). Even the covers are littered with recipes. One owner even put in 4 different recipes for Lagekage!

Today, 185 years ago, Frederik VI died at age 71
