Recall organizers just tell me that they were notified the petition to recall @joelengardio.bsky.social is successful and the election will occur 9/16/26, with 95% validation rate and 10,500 signature valid.
Department of Election said they will publish a press release this morning.

With such high validity rate, “the campaign feel that it’s will be qualified,” said recall campaign leader Jamie Hughes.

Earlier this year, I wrote about historians preserving century-old records in Chinatown organizations, including Cameron House and the 175-year-old Chinese Six Companies, which was key in the 1898 Wong Kim Ark case that established birthright citizenship.
