Neighbors for A Safer Austin Street is hosting a pop-up Open Street on Austin Street in Forest Hills, Queens on Sunday, September 14th from 11am to 4pm. This one-time event will convert the block on Austin Street, from 71st Ave to 71st Rd, into a temporary plaza with seats, tables and events!

The main ingredient is the 3D scanning of the station using rtabmap with iPhone Pro's LiDAR. After puzzling together all these partial scans, I create a fresh 3D model in Blender using the scan as reference. Choose a nice perspective & render: tadah!
