I like programming things. And I laugh way too hard at tech related memes.
#unisonlang, #elixirlang and everything else.
That is very cool!

Oooh what does ATProto and Unison Cloud sync mean? Able to store your PDS data on Unison Cloud?

Syntax highlighting is tied to whatever the tree-sitter parser for a language gives back. You can inspect this tree using `dev: open syntax tree view` command from the palette.
A theme can then apply a color to certain scopes: zed.dev/docs/extensi...

My experience with the themes has been wonky tho

P.S. I also use Zed at times(similar reasons like yours), but it does consume more memory than some terminal editors, but it sure does look pretty.

Helix is like being in vim's visual mode by default, but more importantly Zed has quite a decent Helix mode! If you ever feel adventurous try it out. Visual first + multicursors + multibuffers means you can have quite a lot of editing-fun without doing crazy incantations, with visual feedback!

Obsidian Web Clipper is great, and also currently what I use.

If reading in Obsidian isn't a smooth experience then readeck.org was very nice when I tried it out, because it had a nice UX that invited me to actually read.

"I have a decent fluency in LLMs, and they have utility, but the absurd degree of over-hype, the way they're being forced on everyone, and the insistence on ignoring the many valid critiques about them make it very difficult to focus on legitimate uses where they might add value."

It is bubble-wrap made with checkboxes. They 'pop' when you click them. Leave me alone.
Checkbox Bubble-wrap
They're checkboxes that look vaguely like bubble-wrap which 'pop' once clicked....

A thing that makes this hard to discuss imo, is that even without LLMs productivity was hard to put into concrete words. Is it lines of code? Is it the domain knowledge one gained? Is it some intricate combination of experience, mistakes made, lessons learned and environment :P?
