In my case it's just alcohol in general, and I tank through it cause I'm low key a masochist and this inanimate substance will not defeat me... but I'm told the "kick" that makes me cough is because of how I breathe after each sip. When I remember, I exhale first to let the vapors out, then breathe.

Addendum: #migrant is just as functional, nails it, and it has a nice ring to it.
There really is no reason to cling to #expat unless we have strong feelings about it; in which case, maybe it'd be wise to check our own biases and ask "why am I attached to one, and repelled by the other?" 🤔

1. It's labeled but the content is available
2. sussy # are NOT banned, I'm gonna email and ask why

Not like your note to me was very nice. And who says I’m tone deaf to the social struggles of Guatemala? You know nothing about me or what I do, how I live. I am, by the way, an expat (by definition), an emigrant from my country, and an immigrant to Guatemala. No problem with any of it.
