Curious about someone's find about unused scrolling level select background layer, went digging
The only thing I could find is a tweet from 2015 talking about the game being delayed from 10/21 to 10/28 with no reason why

I can't tell if this is meant to be an early way Tenna was written (doubtful) or just placeholder dialog.
I'm only doubtful cuz I don't get why he'd speak like this about the game but these push scripts and the early battle intro (where it says it's placeholder) are the only remnants I found so far

b1push2_old seems to work, except it spawns Ralsei in a spot that STILL makes it unbeatable (down and left of Susie) and there's no fun cutscene for him turning into a block.

That left room is for the first puzzle, the ext for the pushblock areas is "yogurteasteregg" so it triggers that conversation.
I guess it could've gone where the current one is, the trigger id's are earlier than the used puzzle's. idk it seems odd they moved it rather than delete it.

I hate it already it took hours of troubleshooting to get the sample project working, apparently because I ran it on .net 5.0?? This was stupid.

In 1.0, if you skip giving charles bananas, and go get animal dash from the familiar mansion 100y chest, he disappears (this also makes im so hungry impossible to complete I think)

The other sprites are curious, but only for a couple things:
A battery sprite, that isn't seen in the game (you pick up the battery and a cutscene shows instead, you inspect a random dark hole on the map that the monkey was at)

No, seriously, like 1/4 of the rom is just padded at the end ignoring the intermittent padding thru the rest of the rom, if someone wanted to actually make hacks of this game they have a LOT of room to play with

I don't think I'm gonna dig up as much on this as I did mmxtreme, but there are some weird things.
It hypes up NG+(round 2) a lot but it doesn't feel that different. There's a cloak you can equip but it only applies to the walking/standing sprites.

It's not a fault of the cables from the console to the tv, the tv itself is doing this. So somethings wrong between [gestures at internal components] and the screen itself
