So basically I'm just trying to stabilize myself and my life and access as many resources as I can so I can get to a safe space away from the family members causing harm.

They want you to view immigrants as sub-human and deserving of "what comes next". They are desensitizing you to violence towards a specific group of people ON PURPOSE. WHO does that sound like?

I am incredibly proud of my family and the strength it took to make those hard decisions. I don't tell this story lightly, but I do tell it as it's important women, men, and families know they aren't monsters for choosing what's best for their child at the end of their life.

Families, parents, and doctors should be making these decisions, not the government. This is going to be traumatizing for families and parents.
