I think there is a lot that is underreported this time.

Results TREND:
Infection 7.12%. Last week 8.09%. Down.
17 new covid deaths. 22 last week. Down.
0 new ICU admissions. 5 last week. Down.
Hospitalized now 156. Last week 172. Down.
Difficult to interpret. Especially the total lack of ICU admissions, looks strange.

week 7 of this year...
No ICU admissions registered in the last 7-day period.
Other hospitalizations continue to UP. Last week 165, now 171. A value we have not seen since February 2 (184).

pandemic (!). Look at the GREY curve. The "slowdown" cf. last week is not likely to be the final result, rather continued increase is likely.
Covid deaths have risen rapidly. Around 20-25 are now dying per week, when the "lag" is included. A mortality rate we have not seen since

It explodes right now.
FoHM has now started reporting test data again. All predicted figures back up to and including week 23 have thus been corrected. We are now up to 11.03% cf. last week's 11.46%. This figure is PRELIMINARY, as FoHM has not received reports from all

The current recommendations feel outdated and fail to capture the full picture of this disease's ongoing threat. We should be prioritizing prevention, not just cost-cutting.
We need to clean up the air! It should be as natural as clean water.

But here’s my problem with this analysis. It focuses heavily on direct costs and hospitalizations (QALYs), largely ignoring the significant long-term effects of COVID-19, like Long COVID. This is a massive blind spot!

Doesn't say much, since that is usually not where the severely ill Covid patients are cared for.
Other hospitalizations are increasing RAPIDLY. Last week 131, now 165! Which is the HIGHEST value since the beginning of FEBRUARY!
Time to buckle up!

The infection is INCREASING EXPLOSIVELY right now! Now estimated at 13.40%. Last week estimated at 7.63%.
Covid deaths come later, delayed effect. The "2 deaths" we counted now will be increased when the "lag" comes in.
1 new ICU admission registered in the last 7-day period.

It is not yet visible in the mortality rate, as it comes with a delay of a few weeks. 2 new covid deaths registered in the last 7-day period, compared to 9 in the previous period. In total we are now up to 29,047 covid deaths.
