A supposedly grassroots anti-migrant movement led by 'ordinary' women, which is backed by Reform and Conservative politicians and is regularly invited onto news channels to promote their views, is funded by a far-right group and has platformed a Neo-Nazi activist

Nice to see #bbcqt have dedicated an entire hour to the immigration debate cos we definitely don’t spend morning, noon & night incessantly discussing it ad nauseam

You'll be amazed to discover that a bunch of anonymous people that Nigel Farage says definitely do exist, have confirmed that he didn't say any of the things that lots of other people say on the record that he absolutely did

Reasonably sure more pubs closed under the Tories than at any other point in history so forgive for not quite believing Tory MP Andrew Griffith’s concern for their plight under a Labour government

You will be shocked to discover after reading these stories that while Rachel Reeves claimed to have been the "British girls under-14 [chess] champion" she was in reality merely the "Under 14s British Women’s Chess Association (BWCA) Girls" Champion.

This is getting utterly ridiculous now

Kemi Badenoch, who leads a Party that has taken zero responsibility for the dire state of the country via austerity, Brexit and a Liz Truss budget, questions why Starmer hasn’t taken responsibility for a budget that didn’t crash the economy

Feels increasingly like a Reeves budget, that didn’t crash the markets, is facing more criticism from BBC journalists than a Liz Truss budget that did

Farage.
Grifter-in-chief. Racist. Russian asset. Trump groupie.
He gets an MP’s salary and spends his time doing anything but.
A professional piss-taker and national security (and sanity) threat, leading the polls to be the next PM.
Come on UK.
Get some sodding self-respect.

Oh dear Chris. And BBC.

Think we’ll all go with the OBR official, rather than you and your unprofessional biased nonsense.

Feel free to issue an apology and have a bit of a think. Maybe about the years of barely scrutinised *Tory* policies that got us into this mess.

The Kemi Badenoch who backed austerity, Brexit, Boris Johnson & a Liz Truss mini budget is the same Kemi Badenoch furious at measures being implemented in an attempt to ease the dire impact of austerity, Brexit, Boris Johnson & a Liz Truss mini budget

The media establishment that praised to the hilt a budget that almost saw a run on pension funds & mortgage repayments doubling overnight is the same media establishment furious with a budget that hasn’t seen either

It was par for the course that a Tory Chancellor would appear the week before the Budget, state that they couldn’t say anything about it, drop it on the country & never be interviewed about it again

Fair play to Reeves for bucking that trend

The British press poses a genuine and profound threat to our democracy and our shared prosperity. They howl out their right wing, wealth-protecting agenda and want Farage as PM. We will all pay a very high price for their selfish greed and their utter indifference to social inequality.

Today's 70% fall in net migration to 205,000 was not one of the six stories in BBC ten o'clock news.

Ta massive assymetry in whether rises in immigration and falls in immigration are considered newsworthy by broadcasters

Down by 140k isn't thought to be.

Up by 140k undoubtedly would be.

The front of Tory MPs, like Laura Trott, to appear on national television and criticise a budget that is largely attempting to undo just some of the colossal damage caused by Tory MPs support of austerity, Brexit and Boris Johnson

Today we’ll get latest net immigration figures - They’ll show immigration for work is plummeting.

Why is this not part of the discussion on Rachel Reeves balancing her books & stalled growth?

For every 100,000 drop in net immigration, the OBR adds £7bn to the deficit. #r4today

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1

Asked again and again whether he ever racially abused his fellow pupils, as 20 people at his old school have now said he did, Nigel Farage will only say that he never did so in a "hurtful way" or "with intent"

In the same week the Covid Inquiry concluded that introducing lockdown a week earlier could have saved 23,000 lives and a former Reform politician was jailed for accepting Russian bribes, #bbclaurak hasn’t expended a single second talking about it

That is absolutely appalling

When someone as much as farts the BBC runs to Reform MPs/supporters for their opinion on it

Yet when a former Reform politician is jailed for 10.5 years for accepting Russian bribes…

Only 2 papers (Guardian & Daily Mirror) decided the sentencing of ex-Reform politician Nathan Gill to 10.5 years in prison for accepting Russian bribes, warranted front page coverage

The Telegraph, Independent, Daily Express, Daily Mail, The Times, FT, & The Sun all failed to do so
