ok, i guess the £2000/yr membership does indeed include bloodwork. but £2000 for a script & a blood test is patently ridiculous, considering you'll need to pay again to actually fill the script, and it's basically NHS policy for GPs not to accept or honor shared care agreements.

yeah. even if it's not for profit, it's prohibitively expensive and doesn't actually get you the medication in your hands.

unfortunately if you read the fine print, it's a subscription service that costs £2000 for the first year, and doesn't provide medication, blood tests, or medical appointments--just counseling, a script which nhs pharmacies won't fill, and a shared care agreement most GPs won't accept. 😞

please please please look into what this service actually provides and what it costs. it's prohibitively expensive for many trans people and doesn't actually offer anything other than a script you can then use to purchase meds, with your own money, from some site online.

and while i'm at it, some of us do take feminizing hrt, have been taking hrt longer than you, have the same need for hrt as you, fear losing access to hrt as acutely as you, and lead proudly transfeminized lives in exactly the same social and material ways that you do. we are not so different.

we already hear that sort of thing from the right. we should not tolerate it amongst our own communities. i do not want to log on and see it's again become conventional wisdom that effeminate gay men are predators.
