Writing combat scenes is such a different mentality from anything else
Like most scenes I can just kinda zone in and out and have snacks in the middle but combat? No you either lock in for an hour or write nothing at all

One of my favourite things about vampires with pointy ears is, they can be really expressive
Like I love when ears stand up or droop or wiggle with emotion with cat girls and stuff, but don't really want kemonomimi
So being mostly human but able to wiggle them to say you're happy is cute
