I'm making a pixel art quilt for my niece.
When I did a test and determined that 1 ¼" squares were doable (~32mm) I didn't take into account I'd being doing it with nearly 12k squares. 😅
If my posts descend into madness - *more madness than usual* - this is why.

Today makes 3 year since our goodbye. 🌈
Pix was a stealer of laundry baskets & bed real estate. He went from a trash goblin to a distinguished gentleman & I was honored to be his nurse.
Everyday, I've missed that unique sense of happiness I felt when he jump on the bed and greeted me in the morning.

additional information:
From 2013 to 2018 I ran a tumblr blog [falln2fade] that, at its height, received 100+ new followers & 1,000+ notifications a day, interviews for web-zings and my animations shown at concerts and festivals in countries that I will never see.
Since, I've been diagnosed with a couple of chronic illnesses that perpetually keeps me fatigued and in pain. Despite this I've thought that -eventually- I would get back to posting to my tumblr blog again.
Before this challenge was announced, I had planned to do a 30-day personal run sometime in the autumn - just to see if I could handle the demands that goes with creating and uploading daily content. So, when this excellent challenge was announced, I thought it would add a layer of accountability that I could use to motivate myself to keep going.
Unfortunately, the challenge began just as I was recovering from a illness flare-up, where I did too much (as I do 🤦) and sent myself right into another flare-up. I am shattered and, right now, it's too much for me to keep up with. My apologies.
Oddly, I count this experience as a win. It changed my opinion on what to hold on to and what to let go. I'll still work on graphics as I have since leaving tumblr – maybe some will make it off the hard drive and out into the electronic light of social media; but time's overdue to move on from the idea of getting the blog up and running again. The need for it passed while I was too busy buying into social constructs that it was something I was suppose to do.
Grateful for this opportunity!
