Sometimes a sleep mask and quiet music helps. Sometimes watching or reading something helps. It is hard to tear my mind sufficiently away from all the impending catastrophe to persuade it to sleep. Zaleplon is erratic. I suspect my mutant biochemistry is working hard to keep me in a ready state. 1/

You wonder why I harp on this so much. It's a part of the terminal cancer in our society: concentration of wealth and power in the hands of so few, for the purpose of exploiting, abusing, and disposing of us all, with complete impunity. But this is a part we can reach, grab hold of, and dismantle.
