Migrants coming across the border to work are now being turned away, but the work that needs to be done still exists, basic labor jobs in restaurants, hotels, and construction. With no more cheap labor, prices will increase.

How long will it be before the freed Jan 6ers commit new crimes? Probably not very long.… at least one of them reportedly has been charged with a gun violation already. How many “get out of jail free” cards will be given to violent January 6 reoffenders?

Instead of making immigrants wait until they have a green card to get a job, why not expect immigrants to get a job and then give them legal status? A working person is less likely to be a burden on society.

The House of Representatives is 215-220 with 3 Republican seats actually vacant so 215-217 until Special Elections in April. Good chance Dems can shrink the tiny majority held by the Republicans
