The previous cat was very old but also very sweet and fairly calm. She would even snuggle the dog when it got cold enough. New cat is still not sure why he is expected to live with an obvious predator. (The dog is also confused and just wants to lick him.)

Wow, having a young cat is making it REALLY obvious how old my previous cat was. Cats move really fast when they're healthy, apparently?
