Left my job in March thinking I’d have the next one by April. Ha.
What followed: repeated rejections. Lots of them.
If you’re in the job-search slog: give yourself permission to pivot inward, reach outward, and yes — schedule your worry.

The extreme and psychotic overreaction by Trump and Stephen Miller to Democratic military vets in the Senate and House urging service members to remember that their oath is to the Constitution and not a man tells us a lot about the Trump admin’s plans for the military.

Companies keep hiding behind “the algorithm” while Black workers get shut out. Fairness requires intention not software.

#WorkplaceCulture The top three reasons employee turnover remains so high:

1. Weak or unaccountable leadership
2. Dysfunctional workplace culture
3. Pay that doesn’t match the work

Turnover is rarely about “bad employees.” It’s a leadership and culture problem — every single time.

NEW: @propublica.org investigated the Chicago apartment raid where kids were zip-tied and citizens detained for hours. They find:

- NONE of the arrested were criminally charged
- NO evidence the building was "filled with TdA terrorists."
- ZERO legitimate reason for DHS to rappel from a Blackhawk.

American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.

DHS confirmed it has stopped automatically storing officials' text messages.

Instead, officials are supposed to take a screenshot, send that to their work email, download it onto their work computer and run a text-recognition program on it. Every time.

12 days of work in 103 days.

With full pay and benefits.

The senate has been working, so this is not about the shutdown.

It is about avoiding a vote to release the Epstein files.

No.
"What if he..."
Still no.
"How about..."
STFU, No.
"Then why are we talking about it!?"
Because evil MAGA apparatchiks need you to fear that he will.

I explain in @thenation.com

Why Has Trump Been Flirting With a Third Term?
Trump cannot be president again. But he and his loyal followers have every reason for wanting to make people think he can.

Thank you to everyone reading my essays on Substack and Medium. Your support means everything. 💙 We need to hold leadership accountable. Fair hiring. Fair pay. Fair treatment. The tone starts at the top — and if the “leader” needs worship to function, that’s not leadership, that’s ego management!
