Repointed my feather display after finding the hawk feather you see at the back on this morning’s walk.
I also found yet another of the neon yellow shafted feather you see on the right. I’d not noticed these before but now I’ve found 3 in a month!

Yesterday was the last ride before 24HB in Charlotte next weekend! Wish I had a LOT more saddle time ahead of this event but it’s more than I got last year.
I’m making a commitment to prioritize this and other self care activities in the back half of 2024.

Why the nickname?
So... Fursonas are deep representations of me!
When I identified as feline I sought bond with cats. To feel out Tiger I volunteered at a rescue & actually worked with tigers.
Skunk's hard in NC since they're illegal to keep so I read plenty & watched videos.

Why a Skunk now? I needed a change.
I took up self-reliant Tiger after a rough 18 months when I came out and I lost many people. I walked in orange & black for 20 years but it became limiting.

After 3 years of tending these water lilies from seed they finally put up a flower!! It was well hidden under its leaves. You have no idea how unexpected, how elated this makes me feel.

Any geology buffs out there? I found a red stone on the left... curious if it's ruby. Light passes through it well and it's pictured here with what I believe is rose quartz.
