Not sure about 'talented', but I could try!

I meant to get my friend's name on the list but didn't have energy

I miss them

I hope people keep finding the energy to help fight for the recognition of those on the list and to prevent more being added

How do they find the time for all this?

I swear it's all over Reddit! I was getting suspicious of "cool trick" vids, but then saw a bunch of "elderly animal" ones where I'd owned the animal species at that age and know they didn't look so decrepit.

It's sad that the only "innovation" AI gives is to make liars better at tricking people...

He's on BlueSky!

Porn's a fake category created to hold back political discussion

If the censorship was actually about morals/safety, we'd probably have much tighter rules on non-sexual violent content

The Shinx is small but has a lot of personality!

That's extremely sad!

Kids are meant to be taught reading to better connect them to text-based language (for both the practicalities and joys it brings), not so that they can guess the meaning of picture books.

Wow, hadn't actually realised so many modern cars decided "eyes on the road" wasn't important!

Saving this video to get annoyed at later

So many freaking lights and screens! I'm trying to drive, here!

They do seem to think "we need to restore trust" means "those who distrust us should be taught they're wrong to do so"

Extremely unsubtle mimic!

I'm very sad that none of these replies are bringing attention to Quincey Morris, the gunslinger from a ranch in Texas, who I assume most people pictured as a cowboy while reading the actual book?

I disagree, but then I've had a lot of my worst case scenarios go on to happen, so I know it feels different and that the metal prep did help.

Also helps a bit when bad things happen that are still better than the worst-case ones I imagined.

That's such a fun-looking design! Sleeve suggestion that leaps out to me:
*--

Means it'd have a diagonal of 4 stars in a row if you follow it around (unless I'm reading it wrong)

"Minding your own business" must be such a wild concept to these people

Literally nothing happened to make them kick off about toilets. Never any evidence at all.

I'm still not even convinced restrooms signs actually had more legal weight than "please close the door :)" signs! No one has to apply for a permit to be a cleaner in the "wrong" restrooms...

Honestly feels deliberate. Makes it look more "normal" since children weren't regularly hospitalised by it, and once people have consented to endangering children, they're probably more willing to endanger adults, including themselves.

What I find striking is that recent governments have never really been called out on their vibes-based policies, even after they were proven entirely fictional and even after they caused real harm

Easy mode - [Whatever makes life easiest]
Normal mode - Non-binary
Hard mode - Non-binary with explanation
Nightmare mode - [Not in the mood to elaborate]

That's fair

Guess I'm wary of how often people get called "annoying" for just being a bit weird

Shame that it was too late for McVay, but it's nice to know that allies can come from unlikely places...

Some people are into repetition like that. It bugs me when it's getting top comment spots on things, but I guess it's not hurting anyone...

Besides, the "First!" comment meme went on way too long, so maybe this is a younger gen's version of that.

I checked for context (and to make sure the bear was fine): the photo was taken by Kent E. Gavin and is of a bear rescue mission (they drugged troublemaker bears and released them where they wouldn't be shot)
