In Taiwan, there's a chain place that's near our apartment. I'll generally get around 100 for lunch for my family (usually end up with some leftovers too). Costs about $20-$25 USD.

This Way Madness Lies is a great game and barely anybody bought it. It should be played by more people. If everybody here on @bsky.app banded together and bought a Steam copy and played it, well, that'd be a miracle and I would be forever grateful.

Hellen from the cosmic horror RPG, Look Outside, was my MVP in many a battle.

I assume they were trying to emulate Atlus' stylish battle UI but missed the nuance.

Like with Metaphor, the top level is stylish, because they assume after playing a bit, you'll have the buttons memorized. The ability menu (which will vary character to character) is much more traditional.

Yeah, the thought of trying to read menus like this on a tiny screen hurts my eyes.

I can hear the kids watching the Christmas Glee episode of Community in the next room and I am so jealous. It is one of the greatest episodes of TV of all-time.

Seeing this comment cheered my heart. Playing Cosmic Star Heroine cured this person of their tendency to horde consumable items in RPGs. :)

no one:

literally no one ever:

kids who grew up making Verge RPG games:

"what if Cthulhu was a funny little RPG guy and got Metroided down to LV1 and had to go be a hero in order to get his powers back?"

(game is Cthulhu Saves the World btw)

Found a site called Game Boy Yourself that converts screenshots into a Game Boy style. Having fun plugging in screenshots from my games.

After watching Pulse, I looked at IMDB for more stuff and watched Sweet Home. Yes, it's the one with an NES RPG that inspired Resident Evil.

It's surprisingly good for a low-budget 1989 horror movie. Excellent practical effects, an interesting ghost villain, and superb lighting/camera throughout.
