It sounds crazy, but the most liberating thing I've experienced in a while is getting psych evaluated and finding out that yes, there is in fact something wrong with me. Because now I can get treatment, and hopefully I won't suffer like I have been much longer.

Movie Sonic calls out to an offscreen Modern Sonic, covering the side of his mouth and pointing a thumb at Sonic the Hedgehog from the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog (AoStH) cartoon. He whispers, "What's with the mohawk me?" "I'm all the buzz, cuz! Way past cool and true blue!" a confident-looking AoStH Sonic exclaims, pointing at Movie Sonic with his three-fingered hand. Movie Sonic now stands in front of Sonic the Hedgehog from the Sonic the Hedgehog ABC cartoon (SatAM). "Hey, aren't you the same guy?" he asks. An uncertain-looking SatAM Sonic, wearing his signature backpack, grips his left arm, looking to the side as he responds, "Nah. That dude lives a pretty charmed life in comparison." "Haha what do you mean" Movie Sonic inquires. His eyes slightly narrowed sadly, SatAM Sonic elaborates, "My parental figure got taken by the enemy, leaving me without family for years. A real bummer." Movie Sonic's pupils shrink and he looks taken aback. We pull out of the shot to see SatAM Sonic sat down, looking up slightly encouragingly at the leaning over Movie Sonic, showing sympathy. "Does it ever get easier?" he asks. "One day at a time, man." replies SatAM Sonic.

Just reminded of this little comic I made back in 2020 right after the first Sonic movie came out.
Sonic the Hedgehog from the Paramount movie series is excitedly walking beside Sonic the Hedgehog from the modern game series. "You mean there are more MEs around here?! Sick!" the former exclaims. "Dude, you have no idea!" replies the latter. "It's pretty crazy actually" As the two Sonics speak offscreen, their speech bubbles indicating which one is which, we see Classic Sonic. "That's Classic. Cool little guy. Came before us all," comments Modern Sonic. "Doesn't talk, though. "Wait, is he like MUTE or just really shy?" asks Movie Sonic. "Maybe? Feels more like he's under legal pressure or something," Modern Sonic answers. Movie Sonic approaches Sonic the Hedgehog from the Sonic Boom franchise, who looks really run down and tired, his eyes slightly narrowed. "Are... are you okay? You're covered in bandages!" observes Movie Sonic. "Kid, I have never been okay." says Boom Sonic.
