Hands down it’s these two. Chris Carter’s unity of opposites was so well developed between their characters that it made them iconic. A lot of fun memories having friends over for pizza to catch the Friday (and later Sunday night) FOX airings. We were total X-Files junkies. 🙌

Not only is Bari a truly malignant force wrecking CBS News in a matter of days; she is also comically inept. This crass act of censorship has given the CECOT program far more publicity than CBS just running the segment would have achieved. She is a straight up clown.

Cape May, NJ literally sits right on the meridian that defines UTC-5 Eastern Standard Time at 75°W longitude. Observing UTC-4 Atlantic Time is wholly wrong, not to mention the 60th Meridian is over 700 nautical miles to the east. Atlantic Time observance for the eastern seaboard makes zero sense.

We are on Standard Time now, not DST. Clocks move ahead to DST one hour on the first Sunday in March. Standard Time preserves essential morning light that chronobiology experts and sleep doctors say is essential for circadian alignment and biorhythmic regulation.

We didn’t “get rid of DST” in 1974 under Nixon. It was the opposite: Daylight Saving Time was extended and made permanent as part of a two year pilot. Congress repealed it in less than a year and restored the seasonal six month observance of Standard Time per the Uniform Time Act of 1966.

I hate those damn things. If the LED module fails, the entire ballast has to be replaced. $1000+ each. My car is now 12 years old and has halogen bulbs. If one burns out, I simply get the Sylvania 9000 series replacement. The swap out takes less than 10 minutes in the parking lot. I’m old school.
