#hamont our city water smells like chlorine - a little more than usual. Anyone else noticing? I’m noticing this both at home and work (my students ask me what the smell is)

Hamilton Ontario area- is there an organization (or individuals) - for pay or volunteer - who will have regular visits with a person in a LTC home? Just sit, talk, listen to radio, go for walk?

@joeycoleman.ca just witness a rope rescue- Queen75 rope platform seemed to fall, leaving a man dangling- fortunately in a harness and appeared alert .HFD rescued by breaking window and pulling him in. #hamont

I just watched a YouTube video that, made me super upset by its use of scewed data - extreme bias and only showing a tiny fraction of what is actually true. The video focuses on showcasing Canadian cities. At first I thought it was satire.

read a post about how much contact parents have with their AWAY college/uni kid-really differs depending on the kid-your relationship- their needs.I have 2 boys-one calls every night to do NYR puzzles-the other would be fine hearing from us once p/month. Love them both-they just have different needs

My usual hill to die on-let’s stop using food as a reward/manipulative in schools.I know it’s well-intentioned, but it disrespects reality of kids who face poverty…may not have secure access-ignores allergies,health and culture/religion-it teaches a disjointed message about what food should mean.

Air Canada could fix this NOW with a fair deal for flight attendants. AC is holding passengers hostage instead - Enough.Give them a fair deal -what is deserved. So many people need to get home for work and families. Will you pay our extra costs while we wait? #aircanadastrike

My son (22 year old) has applied to 60+ research jobs- many summer student . I’ve been helping him. Still no offers.He has a UofT science degree, a clinical research cert (in progress), and a ton of motivation—but no hands-on experience yet.
He’s now offering to volunteer just to get started.
