Though, they've now lent me this massive longbow to use, they said it was the smallest one they had, but it's still far too big to be practical for anyone except giants. Which is most people around here.

Seems 'new adventurer' means servant these giants can send to collect parcels and deliver letters all day, because they're too lazy to do it themselves.
I mean, they pay well, but I didn't come here to take a job as a postal worker, did I?

I can't help but feel like this kid is messing with me, sending me to do odd things, and now wanting me to dance. But he's the first person I've met here that isn't freakishly tall, so I like him.

Gone out tonight for a bit of late night hunting, may have strayed a bit away from the main road, but I found my way back eventually after stumbling on this nice little camp site.

Evening is coming on now, it's been a busy day and there's still more to come. My teacher at the guild wants me to show off my skills in a little hunting exercise in the woods. I'll show them just what I can do.

All signed up as a member of the local archers' guild, time to impress them with my skills. Just a shame I can't afford any new equipment just yet, but I hear a rumour the guild might lend me some new items to use one day.
