Went to see the Spanish Riding School of Vienna 🇦🇹 today - such an amazing display of skill and trust between horse and rider- just phenomenal

I’m told it’s #Arachtober so here’s a beauty which was sheltering by my door out of the rain - I am no expert but think it is a wolf spider

This was, for me, one of the most heartbreaking things about Bergen-Belsen - 52,000 dead & only 10,000 have been identified. Anne Frank is obviously one of the most famous victims buried here but the number of mass graves with the label ‘an unknown number of dead are buried here’ just wrung my heart
