Today I am grateful for the privilege of good job and good medical care that allows me a comfortable recovery, my friends checking in on me, and especially my husband. And also this chaos muppet. She’s still figuring out how this whole thing works, but she is the best snuggler.

13 years. Highlights and heartbreaks. You’re still my favorite.

For Int’l Cat Day: my 17yr male cat. Now mostly deaf, he still enjoys drinking from the faucet, naps on his heating pad, loudly proclaiming he wants to eat, yodeling his pleasure at a good #2, and jumping on the kitchen counters, where he knows he’s not allowed, but can’t hear you coming anymore.

Newbie tax, a photo of my furkids: dog (female terrier mix 9yr) and cat (male domestic, 17yr) sleeping next to each other. The cat barely acknowledges her existence, so for him to just lay down and sleep right next to her, was shocking.
