Erenville and Loire both wander off from time to time to do their own thing but I like to think reunions are like they haven't seen each other in years, regardless

Anne Rice's characters from The Vampire Chronicles as featured in the second novel in the series, "The Vampire Lestat". Nicolas de Lenfent (Nicki) and Lestat de Lioncourt in a colorful early evening in Paris. Nicolas plays the violin while Lestat holds out a hat for the passer-by for money. They stand on an empty corner with ivy crawling up the side of a building and the lamp shining down on the street. The violin case is open. Nicki somewhat blends into the building due to the soft shadow, all but his face, which is illuminated by the lamplight coming from around the corner. On the other side of him stands Lestat in a theatrical pose, the lamp from overhead illuminating him brightly like a spotlight on a stage. His expression is boyish and pleased.

I stared at my reflection. I rubbed my face, even rubbed the mirror and pressed my lips together to keep from crying.

Finally, I closed my eyes and opened them again, and I smiled very gently at the creature.

He smiled back. That was Lestat, all right.

The concept of ffxiv starting over again with a new plot with a secondary wol for new players to join in with and that wol gets a mentor to show them the ropes who was involved from the last game just like we had minfilia but he's this cloaked guy from a newly allied country has a funky bird girl
