I wonder if the drones are part of an effort to confuse and distract us from the truly unidentifiable objects like this weird orb. It looks like some sort of plasma phenomenon surrounding a stable center object of some sort.

The emphasis on drones in public discourse makes me think so.

No it's not. It's another AI enhanced astronomy image that doesn't look like the real thing. The contrast is exaggerated, the shape is enhanced. The colors obviously chosen for dramatic effect. And it doesn't offer any real information about the real nebula. It's dishonest.

Ummm, nope. These are two actual views of that nebula. No need to enhance, when reality is amazing enough. What's up with the dishonest images showing up here on Bluesky?

This reminds me of when there was a measles outbreak in Texas, during the 1990s I think it was. I'm pretty sure Bush was governor. I can't remember the exact details but I think it had something to do with budgetary concerns and an anti-public health sentiment, but it might have been antivaxxers.
