No it's not. It's another AI enhanced astronomy image that doesn't look like the real thing. The contrast is exaggerated, the shape is enhanced. The colors obviously chosen for dramatic effect. And it doesn't offer any real information about the real nebula. It's dishonest.

Look at what I found at NASA's great Image and Video Library! I just typed "nebula" in the search field.

This is a genuine image not one of the many dishonest images amped by AI but presented on Bluesky as real.

When reality is truly amazing, why try to "enhance" it?

There are lots of AI enhanced (or ruined) images of astronomical objects appearing on Bluesky. They're obvious fakes to somebody familiar with astronomy but to others.

Ummm, nope. These are two actual views of that nebula. No need to enhance, when reality is amazing enough. What's up with the dishonest images showing up here on Bluesky?
