There’s a lot that makes my blood boil these days but this really does. I’m just thinking about all I want to do when I witness this.
There's going to be news about a woman illegally detained and being forcely removed from a Coeur d'Alene Idaho Town Hall meeting taking place at the high school by men that would not identify themselves wearing plain clothes because she opposed the republican viewpoints.

Did not even realize the part about married names and birth certificates. Do not let this one pass. But dems will, to ensure that they themselves are never elected again. www.americanprogress.org/article/the-...
The SAVE Act Would Disenfranchise Millions of Citizens
The SAVE Act would require all Americans to prove their citizenship with documentation unavailable to millions and upend the way every American citizen registers to vote.

Making my way through Death’s End and both it and the Dark Forest really are surprising me compared to what Three-Body Problem was like. It’s like Cixin Liu became much more sensitive after the first book.

All the overwhelming news is combining with my severe cold brainfog to create a delightfully psychedelic experience the past couple of days.

For those who say Elon Musk’s neo-Nazi ideology is just a troll and not a deeply held belief, I give you the reality of what happens when you give him this kind of unchecked power.

This is who he is, and it’s also who he associates with. Essential we discuss it as it is instead of whitewashing.
NEW: Archived tweets for Gavin Kriger, Musk's 20-something DOGE employee wreaking havoc inside USAID, shows that Kriger has retweeted multiple neo-Nazis including Nick Fuentes, leader of the so-called Groyper movement, and another popular explicit Nazi account recently unmasked by @travisbrown.dev
Gavin Kliger, Elon's DOGE hitler youth shutting down USAID, is now indirectly responsible for the deaths of thousands of children. His Instagram appears to be @gkliger. He's scrubbing his online footprint.

Here's an archived copy of Kliger's resume: web.archive.org/web/20240418...

El Salvador is “willing to accept and to jail U.S. citizens or legal residents convicted of and imprisoned for violent crimes. Human rights activists have warned that … such an agreement might not be limited to violent criminals.“

Rubio says El Salvador will house deportees from U.S., including Americans
A U.S. official said the Trump administration had no plans to try to deport American citizens. The U.S. government cannot deport American citizens and such a move would be met with legal challenges.

Julie Gray, wife of Holocaust survivor Gidon Lev, was there when Elon Musk visited Auschwitz in January 2024.

Gray was a guest of honor on the day Musk showed up at Auschwitz for his highly-publicized visit.

Gray said Musk was cold, detached, and unfeeling throughout the tour, and…

Black Lives Matter fundamentally broke these people’s brains. They couldn’t bear the idea that they might have to tell a different story about this country and thus tell a different story about themselves. They hated it, and now they are using everything they have to never feel that way again.

If you can't find an online history for an organization (or, if it's a coalition, it's component organizations), DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR INFO
my god PLEASE do not sign up online for an organized general strike via a slick looking website claiming hundreds of thousands have already registered.

even if it's not a honeypot, it's still going to be a honeypot.

Now that Trump and Elon Musk have maliciously made the personal and purposeful choice to crash yet another plane I am not flying until they’re both gone.

Does anyone know the current status of any big re-decentralization projects like Solid or is this kind of it as far as high-profile experiments go?

I’m preparing my “Favorite Songs of 2024” list and I realized I never really posted last year’s list anywhere online. So why not here? It’s probably changed but these are the ones I discovered during 2023.

Is “Nobody Loves You More” the best thing Kim Deal has done in 30 years? That’s saying a lot because Last Splash is probably the 90s album I still consistently listen to the most.
