oh that sounds so awesome and very up my alley! my plan is to perform the plays in yiddish, the english translation is for reference since my yiddish isnt good enough yet to be translating from a yiddish script myself. do you remember who the presenter was? was it with the mitn link fus panel?

i'm at a stage where i don't *know* a lot of yiddish plays other than the really famous ones like the dybbuk, god of vengeance, the golem etc. so if you have a resource that maybe even has a *list* or an anthology or st that would also be immensely helpful!

i'm researching in order to put up a yiddish-language staged reading of a scene or two (or a one-act play) and i'm interested in themes of feminism/women (and women playwrights), family structures and patriarchy, revolutionary politics, and tension bw tradition and modernity, written pre-wwii
