Turns out that if it takes you 9 days to find time to see a new movie, that movie may be gone already. So much for SIRAT on the big screen. FML

ALL HER FAULT is a trashy, risible soap opera but weirdly compelling - and it’s nice to see Sarah Snook back on TV, and to realize Dakota Fanning has entered peak Amanda Seyfried territory and is crushing it. Guess I rarely see shitty airplane paperbacks on screen, much less read them.

TIL that the Frank Perry who directed THE SWIMMER is Katy Perry's uncle.

This is an indictment both of ChatGPT and the state of movie titles today, but definitely way more an indictment of ChatGPT.

Such a funny, warm, insightful doc. Among the best films of 2025 outright.

Halfway through the ED GEIN miniseries on Netflix and it just keeps getting better. Balances the depravity and gruesomeness with sharp wit. And episode 4 is a surprise PHANTOM THREAD reunion with Lesley Manville joining Vicky Krieps to slay it for 45 minutes.

Perfect microcosm for 2025. The best one is going away. In my alternate timeline it’s Burger King that gives all their locations over to Wendy’s.
The interim CEO of Wendy's announced that about 200 to 350 underperforming stores across the U.S. will close. https://www.hawaiinewsnow.com/2025/11/07/wendys-plans-close-hundreds-restaurants/

I know not many will see this, but I am in serious search of a new domain/email provider for my freelance business. I have been let down time and again by Hover. Don't want to pay Google. Any suggestions? #AmEditing #freelance

I’m unprepared for Josh O’Connor and Jack O’Connell to be hitting peak popularity at the same time.

Tickets have been secured for tomorrow afternoon. There once was a time when I would have no problem seeing my #1 most-anticipated movie of an entire year on its opening day. In The Year Of Our Asshole 2025, I will finally see it (front to back: we're obviously starting from the jump) 3 weeks after.
I’m starting to think seeing 2/3 of this is worse than not seeing it at all because WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENS IN THE LAST 45 MINUTES! (Don’t answer that I’ll see it at some point next week I hope)
I’ll make the long story long. About 1:50 into the film, a transient woman snuck into the theater and went down into the front row. Two theater employees went down to ask her to leave. She yelled at them. They asked again and she stood up and yelled at them to step back. 1/ 🧵

Announce you're playing all of Copper Blue with a Beaster encore, and Gen Xers everywhere will shed their compression socks and Copper Fit back supports RUNNING to their laptops to sell out every single show.

Well you might be hearing about this screening through the grapevine. Long story short, I’ll have to watch the last hour another time. 🫤
