THIS! Growing up poor, I never realized why I was getting cut every year from teams until I was in my early twenties. I had abilities/knowledge; however, my mom didn’t have the understanding of getting me specialized coaching, nor would she have been able to afford it.

Equating our greatest strength to “things you can shoot” and “raw power” is not only stupid, but it implies that our military only exists to kill. Our military is so much more than trained killers.

Also, a person who literally works from their house shouldn’t be lecturing America about WFH with largely baseless claims about productivity being down, in my opinion.

The surrounding businesses adjacent to WFH supportive industries (food/retail) have taken a hit, but many people don’t want to work for a company that’s making them return to the office full time when they’ve experienced the benefits of WFH.

If people are not violating laws/rules and there is no conflict of interest, there should be no issue if people are collecting a second pay check. The real issue is that real estate sits dormant and in many cases continues to serve less of a purpose w/ productivity increasing due to hybrid work.

I agree that she should’ve been considered as a lead. I guess the studio felt differently 🤷‍♂️. I think she absolutely carried the entire film. However, if I were to be considered by many to be a lead, and I only was campaigned for as a supporter, I’d still campaign my butt off to win.
