You will not understand MAGA/Trumpism until you understand how many Americans are domestic abusers or grew up in abusive environments. Trump sits in at the top of the dominance heirarchy for them in a way that does not make sense to those of us who grew up in healthy families.

Well worth looking at in my opinion. The free version is 85% of the core rulebook and will let you see if you click with it. Classic fantasy ran through a FitD lens, with meaningful mechanical changes to the core system that make it feel more than just DnD+Blades. I'm very impressed so far.

I think @nathantankus.bsky.social's piece on the Biden economy is really solid, and the big issue people have with Biden is less about what he did on the economy writ large, and more about the contrast between having and not having a social safety net
