It will be interesting to see which of Trump's multiple personalities shows up this afternoon. With few exceptions, I don't know why these in-person meetings are beneficial, since Trump is completely untrustworthy and he transforms into something even uglier once the meeting is over.

Wow, GOP House must feel really threatened by democratic socialism, for them to bring this to the floor when the country has so many other issues!

Given coverage of Patel's warnings about forthcoming retribution, he should have never even made it out of the Senate Judiciary Committee. He did, thanks to the incompetence, ignorance, and dereliction of GOP senators, such as Thom Tillis (R-NC), who was his main cheerleader during his confirmation.

This is shocking... GOP has multiple billionaires backing their candidates while Dem megadonor sources seem to have largely dried up and the DNC is now forced to take out loans. Have to wonder if the Trumpist intimidation techniques against Dem megadonors are working.

Trump double-crossed Ukraine by Witkoffsky secretly working with Russia to create a plan that Zelenskyy would in no way support. Only hope at this point is that the US Congress intervenes.

I'm not so optimistic. Don't neglect the susceptibility of short-sighted, naive and uninformed voters to sensational stories that GOP and TrumpMiller will find to exacerbate cultural divisions and energize Trumpists. Trump is determined to find a way, legal or otherwise.

Seems that all Putin has to do is agree in private with Trump's emissary Witkoffsky to a plan that he knows Zelenskyy won't agree to, and he can cut off US support for Ukraine.

It is a reprehensible plan intended only for Trump to claim he achieved peace while cooking business deals with Russia. All it achieves is total surrender. The most repulsive government since Neville Chamberlain. Worse than Chamberlain since his surrender was at least partly his own country.

According to the fascinating (to me, anyway) AllSides, CNN's online presence "Leans Left." AllSides is transparent in their methodology and democratic in the sense that any site visitor can register their opinion on a news site's bias and those votes are shown on their "Media Bias Ratings" tab.

Wow, surprising that the bulk of comments here seem to reflect a great disdain toward cybersecurity.

Can't she also press charges?

Looking forward to a very public lawsuit vs DHS and hoping she doesn't settle before the discovery phase.

And now Lindsay Graham blocks it in the Senate.
This is members of the US Congress lining their own pockets carried to an extreme. Imagine what Toqueville would have said...

Here's a transcript of the key exchange:

ME: You filled out a form which essentially says, ‘who delivered this threat,’ and your office wrote in ‘Donald J. Trump.’

HOULAHAN: 'The President.'
