Book lover and shy gamer with a sweetspot for rpgs n.n7 🇭🇳🏳️‍🌈
It's a shame, the book has really cool art, and "the man named Anthony" was a compelling villain, but I ended up identifying with this quote of the book so much: "I read one of your works... I thought it was a stupidity pretending to be smart".
If somebody enjoyed it, let me know n.n7

Some weeks ago, I finished reading "The Curator" by Owen King, and to put it lightly, I found it dissapointing. A Dickensian fantasy book set in the gritty 1800s, where cats are treated as gods? The premise alone should have charmed me, but I ended up finding a pretencious and frustrating mess 1.5/5

It's been a while, but I have finally worked around reading Frankenstein and... I'm surprised at how far removed the book is from the common consciousness of the monster.
I came expecting horror but ended up with a very romantic and poignant tragedy 5/5. A great classic! #book #cat #reading

Just finished reading "The soul of a Woman" by Isabel Allende, a very endearing and thought-provoking book about feminism and her life. It felt like I spent an evening talking with my grandma over a cup of coffee <3

Just finished reading my Christmas gift, the first book from Ari and Dante, and I completely enjoyed it, a very sweet, coming of age, love story, and excited to read the sequel with my partner <3

Just finished reading Circe and it is certainly not what I expected, having finished "The Song of Achilles" I hoped for another epic adventure from Greek mythology, but this is a quieter and more emotional story, a goddess's journey of self-discovery, acceptance, loneliness and strong will.

Felt quite smart guessing the culprit before the grand reveal, but that didn't stop "The Murder of Roger Ackroyd" from being exciting, without a doubt, one of my favorite Agatha Christie novels.

Currently, obsessed with mystery and Agatha Christie, I'm just waiting for my local library to add more.
